We are very happy to offer the “Artists Walk Guide” in Deia. A local Artist will take you on a guide of the village to meet various artists that live locally, to see them at work in their studios. Your guide will talk all about the history of Artist´s past and present in Deia and give you a real insight into their lives.
Deia also offers the perfect environment to explore your creative side. Art or sculpture classes can be organised with one of our very talented local artists. These can be arranged for all age groups including children and those with any level of knowledge.

Twenty seven years ago, a group of amateur and professional musicians got together to perform concerts in Llucalcari and then Deia. That particular moment marked the humble beginning of what is known today as the “Deia International Music Festival”. The majority of the concerts are organised in ‘Son Marroig’ – the museum dedicated to Archduke Luis Salvador of Austria, which has acquired the possession in 19th century.

The Cala Deia cove offers a sheltered beach like a hidden paradise with crystal clear waters. On the beach you will find plenty of big rocks in which to sit and admire the turquoise waters, perfect for diving. There are two great seafood restaurants located on the beach enjoying the spectacular view. The Cala is a 15min walk from Deia centre through a pretty pathway of olive and lemon trees. Alternatively there is a car park located just behind the cala which is a 5 min drive from Deia center.

Hugely popular rustic seafood restaurant specialising in Paella. Its situation is unique as it is located at the end of the cape of Sa Foradada and is only reached by boat (there is a mooring place for boats to dock just in front) or reached by foot a 45 min walk from Son Marroig. The restaurant gets very busy so reserving a table is recommended.
