LIBRARY IN DEIA

The Joan Graves Library in Deia opened and was inaugurated this past February 12th.  It has been a great addition to the village..

It is open every weekday in the afternoon and on Saturday mornings.  Many folks go there to research, use the internet and check out books.  And every Wednesday afternoon there are fun activities for the children.  The library is now asking all Deia residents 18 years or younger who are library members to join the contest in helping chose the library’s mascot.  The mascot must have a name in relation with literature and Deia. The drawing & mascot name should be turned in no later than the 17th of October.  It has to be on a half sheet of A4 paper.  The mascot must be invented or original, it cannot be copied from an existing character.
