BASILICA DE SANT FRANCESC
This is one of the most visited churches in Mallorca, belonging to Franciscan monks. The construction of this Gothic church started in 1281. In 1952, the Third Order of the Franciscans built here a school. The special feature of the church are the cloisters full of atmosphere and unique charm. It houses the old alabaster tomb of the famous Mallorcan mystic, philosopher and theologian Ramon Llul, honored as a martyr. The Gothic arches date all the way back to 14th and 15th century.
