DEIA ON BRITISH TV SERIES
BBC’s new thriller ‘The Night Manager’ starring Hugh Laurie, Tom Hiddleston and Olivia Colman is based on the 1993 bestseller of the same name by John Le Carré.
Instead of doing business with drug cartels in South America, arms dealer Richard Roper (Laurie) jets between Europe and the Middle East.
One of the scenes in a recently aired episode, was filmed at the picturesque restaurant, Cas Patró March, at Cala Deia.
Several scenes have also been filmed at other locations in Mallorca, such as Palma, Port of Soller, Calviá & Llucmajor, as well as at Sa Fortaleza, one of the most spectacular and exclusive estates which overlooks the port of Pollensa.
According to Ultima Hora, the property of 87.000 m2, which is composed of several villas, two pools, stunning gardens & terrace, was said to be purchased for approximately 40 millions euros in 2011.
