PARLIAMENT OF BALEARIC ISLANDS

Originally, the building used to be the ‘Círculo Mallorquin’, a club for the upper class of the island’s society during the 19th and early 20th century. After gaining autonomous status in 1983, the building became the new parliament for the Balearic Islands. The ballroom full of beautiful marble statues is now housing the plenary assembly hall.
